Cleansing Workshop:  This workshop will cover how to work with a broom, eggs, a chicken foot, and other items used in spiritual cleansing.  Cleansing is a very important part of the work.  There will be a drawing and one person will receive a hands on cleansing as a demonstration for the workshop.

Blackhawk Workshop:  This workshop will cover how to call Blackhawk and how to work with him.  The first 10 people to sign up will be given dirt from Starr's Blackhawk tub to start their own tub.  She will demonstrate how to do one working with him.

Throughout conjure practices,, the enigmatic figure of the spirit of the crossroads is a constant figure.  As the opener of the ways and the meeting point between human and spirit, he is a consummate friend to the conjurer.  He is known as Papa Legba, Elegba, the Dark Man, Old Jack/John, the Dark Rider and many other names.  Orion will discuss lore from his tradition and the nature and practices associated with this powerful spirit ally.  He will also lead us in a powerful visionary working to meet him and receive a blessed key to help "open up the road to goodness and blessing."  Each participant will receive a physical key blessed by the dark rider at the end of the workshop.

Traditional Techniques for Spiritual Maintenence:  Spiritual cleansing is fundamental to safety and health of all those who perform magic or work deeply on a psychic or emotional level with others.  Spiritual Baths, Hoodoo Hand and Head Washing, the use of Sacred Plants, and other types of Spiritual Cleansing are discussed and demonstrated.  These techniques are rarely discussed and even less frequently demonstrated, yet implemented in one's life.  They make a big difference to your power, happiness, health and well being.  All participants will take away materials with which to cleanse themselves using these old time techniques.
