Linda Patterson, founder and director of the Eclectic Institute of Aromatherapy and Herbal Studies has over twenty years of experience working with herbs and essential oils. Her love for plants inspired her to become a Master Gardener as well as a Flower Essences Practitioner. Linda teaches internationally as well as throughout the Northeast.

During this lecture we’ll cover some of the more common herbs known for their immune boosting qualities, and the best methods of preparation. We’ll discuss harvesting, growing, and dosage as well as different methods of medicine making.

There will be a demonstration on tincture making, a discussion on the different menstrums that can be used and which menstums are best for specific situations. You can make a gallon of tincture for the price usually paid for one ounce.

Pendulums have been used for hundreds of years. Learn how this valuable tool can help you make decisions, gain valuable insights, change energy. There is more to a pendulum than yes or no answers! For over 25 years, Orion Foxwood has lectured in the United States and more recently in the United Kingdom on the Craft, Faery Seership and Southern Folk Magic and conjure practices. The Faery Seership tradition is a collection of lore, customs, techniques, and prohibitions, which are influenced by the Celtic and pre-Celtic tribes of Europe. It focuses on the living inner commonwealth of the sacred land and humanity's spiritual cousins in the other world. It is a philosophy, way of life and a paradigm through which we as humans can re-enter alliance with the Earth, other living creatures, the plant/tree kingdom, and other races of beings which share the Earth's surface and underworld life with us.

Lifting the Spelle of Forgetfulness: Dismissing "the Uninvited Guests" with Orion Foxwood

One of the primary teachings of Faery Seership is the redemption of ancestral paradox. This approach brings our attention to the riddles of our birth-blood and inherent wisdom in recognizing and healing the 'shadow-shapers' hidden in what Orion calls “the spelle of forgetfulness.” These inherited inner forces and the surface world mediators of them comprise the 'uninvited guests' that dwell in our inner world and hold us in paradoxical shapes. Orion will discuss some of these forces and lead us in techniques to support healing and reclamation of our spirit.

We will also discuss how these complex oils can be our best allies against respiratory infections, antibiotic resistant bacteria’s and air borne microbial. Making them a huge asset during cold and flu season.

We will explore blending, why it’s important and the basics of how to create smooth, synergistic blends. All participants will have the opportunity to create a blend to take home and enjoy.
